Celebrity Jewelry Trends Seen on the Red Carpet

Award shows for both television actors/actresses and music artists are watched not just so that the everyday person is able to see what award their favorite actor/actress or music artist won, but instead to see who is wearing what in fashion styles. The World around us is very fashion conscience and it goes without saying that when it comes to jewelry trends, celebrities set the trend and award shows such as the Golden Globes and the Grammy’s are their stage.

The Golden Globes was not but a few weeks ago where both actors and actresses were awarded on their talent by their peer actors and actresses. Actresses such as Kate Beckinsale and Edie Falco were applauded by both their fans and fashion critics alike for their excellent selection in bold diamond designs. Kate Beckinsale dunned a pair of large diamond stud earrings and Edie Falco made quite a statement in triple drop diamond chandelier earrings that glittered each way she turned. Ugly Betty’s Ana Ortiz brought back the vintage look with a pair of diamond cluster earrings that set off her vintage diamond bracelet that gave her the look of the star that she really is.

It isn’t just television stars that were noticed for their excellent choice in diamond jewelry designs because the Grammy’s, an award show for music artists, also brought out some great diamond pieces of jewelry as well. Beyonce Knowles, always known for her impeccable style and taste, wore a stunning blue dress that picked up the sparkle of her diamond drop earrings. Fergie complimented a yellow dress with not only her beautiful blonde hair, but also with Cartier diamond jewelry.

Both the Golden Globes and the Grammy’s proved that diamonds still take the stage as the must have pieces of jewelry for celebs to dun with their favorite designer gowns. Any look at any hot actor or music artist at either of these award shows clearly shows that diamond chandelier earrings are in and the look for diamond trends this season is vintage diamond styles.
